Charging data and Princess St mentioned in the news

13 March, 2018 | Dundee Electric

It was great to see our Princess St hub and our EV charging data mentioned in various articles here:

The Courier:

Council on point with charging stations

Evening Telegraph:

Dundee Council plan city centre car park ONLY for electric vehicles

We’d like to clarify the charging hubs are not ‘car parks’. Visually there is little difference, but unlike parking you would return to your car once it’s fully charged. At rapid chargers  this can be as little as 20 minutes. There are electric tops-ups so quick that some just stay in their car. A charging hub will have a lot more movement and be less stationary than a ‘car park’. Chargers must be accessible at all times with the only exceptions being that another EV is already charging there.
