Dundee City Council is celebrating more national success for its drive to net zero and use of electric vehicles (EVs).
The local authority has won a number of awards in recent months, with the achievements shining a spotlight on Dundee’s electrification and decarbonisation strategy.
Councillors Steven Rome and Heather Anderson visited the fleet headquarters at Marchbanks to congratulate staff on the awards.

Cllr Rome, convener of Fair Work, Economic Growth and Infrastructure, said: These prestigious awards represent more national recognition for the journey Dundee is undertaking.
“I would like to congratulate our staff for all the efforts that they are making.
“We have accomplished much, and we are working on actions set out in the Council’s Net Zero Transition Plan to become a more sustainable city and a more modern council.”
Climate, Environment and Biodiversity convener Cllr Heather Anderson said: “Climate change is an extremely urgent issue which the council has a direct responsibility to tackle by cutting carbon emissions and improving air quality.
"The growth of EVs across our fleet is a sign of how seriously we take our responsibilities, and it is great to see our staff’s work being recognised with these awards for excellence.”
